Port of Coronel is a port on the central Pacific coast of Chile.When the west 5 area standard is adopted.The maximum draft is 7.32 meters.The loading density of water is 1025.The tidal range is about 1.22 meters.Southwest wind prevails.Forced pilotage.If the berth is occupied or the ship fails to get the pilot, the ship shall anchor about 400 meters in front of the coal jetty, with the azimuth of 135 degrees and the water depth of 10.06 meters.Port service facilities: ship repair, small boats, medical treatment, fresh water, supplies and repatriation, no fuel, dry dock, traction, sewage.The nearest railway station is talcavano and Concepcion, and the nearest airport is talcavano and Concepcion.The coal port in the northeast of coronell Bay is in the old area of coronell port. The severe earthquake left two breakwaters on shore and destroyed the warehouse.The coal handling belt is 407 meters long.
