Overview

      Coco Solo Port (port code: PACSO) is one of the two sub ports of Colon Port, the other being Manzanillo International Terminal, which was developed as a transhipment centre for the handling of import/export of containers, Ro-Ro and break bulk cargo. It is situated to the northeast of Colon, Panama, some 36 miles (58 kilometers) northwest of Panama City, the country's capital.

      Coco Solo was a United States Navy submarine base and naval air station, active from 1918 to the 1960s.
