Overview:

      Panama commercial port. Located on the north coast of the Gulf of Panama. The maximum draft is 7 meters, and the loading density of water is 1025. The tidal range is 2 meters and the north wind prevails. It is compulsory for ships of 150 gross tons to pilot. The pilot can be contacted through VHF channel 15. RTHK via VHF channel 15. The port can accept a maximum length of 120 meters and a draft of 7 meters. A ship carrying 30000 tons. Port service facilities: ship repair, fueling, small boats, medical treatment, traction, fresh water, supplies and repatriation, dry dock and sewage. The nearest airport is in Panama City. There are three jetties in the port: "t" type jetty, 120 meters long and 12 meters wide. The average depth of low tide water around the jetty is 9.9m. It can dock four tuna fishing boats at the same time. Two shrimp unloading jetties can accommodate 8 shrimp boats at the same time. The port is equipped with 4 Modern cranes with a lifting capacity of 15 tons, 11 transfer ladders and a carrying capacity of 10-20 tons.
