Overview:
Port Of Cristobal is the Panama Canal transit supply port, the trading port of Colon City. It is located on the east side of Limon Bay at the north mouth of the canal, on the western outskirts of Cologne. To the south, there are railways, roads, and canals that connect Panama City in parallel. The sea road is 4330 nautical miles from Gibraltar in the east, 4830 nautical miles from Antwerp in the northeast, 989 nautical miles from the Port of San Juan, 1979 nautical miles from New York to the north, and 1413 nautical miles from the Port of New Orleans to the northwest. The port wharf is semi-pinnate, extending from the west of Manzanillo to a main jetty, and then extending from it to the southwest with 3 small jetties parallel to the land bank, with 18 berths; at the west end of the southeast fjord, there is also a northwest extension Jetty. There are 5 berths. There are a total of 23 berths in the port with a water depth of 8.84-12.20 meters, which are used for cargo handling and replenishment of ships crossing the river, and goods in and out of the Cologne Free Trade Zone are also used here. There is also a ship repair yard on the east bank of the fjord, with excellent port equipment.
