Puerto Natales is a Chilean town located in the southern part of the country. It is governed by the Magellan-Chile Antarctic Region. It is also the capital of the province of Ultima Esperanza. It had a population of 19,116 in 2002 and a population density of 0.4 people per square kilometer. .
