Overview:
The Arabian Sea stretches into the Gulf off the Makran coast on the Iran Pakistan border.It is about 32 km (20 miles) long and 16 km (10 miles) wide.Dashtiari River and dasht river flow into Pakistan from northwest and northeast respectively, and guader city in Pakistan is about 48 km (30 miles) east of Shuiwan.
Gwadar Port generally refers to Gwadar Port, and the name of Gwadar has been popular for many years.It is located in the southwest of Balochistan province, Pakistan, as a deep-water port.At the request of President Musharraf, the Chinese government provided financial and technical assistance for the port construction.The port was started in March 2002 and completed in February 2015. It is expected to be fully operational in mid April.The transportation distance of part of China's oil will be shortened by 85%.The geographical coordinates of Gwadar Port are 25.2°N、62.19°，It covers an area of 14637 square kilometers and has a population of 85000.On April 21, 2016, Zhang Baozhong, chairman of China overseas port Holding Co., Ltd., disclosed that the Gwadar Port under development is expected to be fully operational by the end of 2016.
