Overview:
Port on the east coast of Cape aguha, Peru.When the west 5 area standard is adopted.The maximum draft is equivalent to 250000 DWT vessels.The loading density of water is 1025.The tidal range is about 2.5m.East wind prevails.Compulsory pilotage, VHF channel 16 for communication.There are no holidays in the port and the working hours are 24 hours.Port service facilities include: fueling, small boats, medical treatment, traction, sewage, fresh water, supplies and repatriation, no ship repair and dry dock.There is a lighthouse on the hill behind the breakwater, 183 meters above the plane. The lighthouse lights twice every 15 seconds, with an interval of 0.33 seconds. The light radius is about 32 km.The entire lighthouse building is painted with the same horizontal stripe pattern in black and white.The estimated arrival time of the ship must be reported to paita port 24 hours before the arrival of the ship via radio station.It can enter the port at day or night. There is a row of green pilot lights on the East breakwater. When the ship berths, its bow must face west.The oil tanker is loaded by gravity and connected with 10 oil tanks on the hillside by oil pipes. These oil tanks are 16 meters above the sea level, storing 140000 barrels of oil and delivering 50000 barrels of oil every day.At the land end of the trestle, there is a small cargo wharf with a water depth of 10 meters, two diesel oil unloading devices and two special tugs for the wharf.
