A port on the Pacific coast of southwestern Peru.Chart number 3048.When the west 5 area is adopted.The maximum draft is 9.14m, and the loading density of water is 1025.The tidal range is 0.6 meters and the westerly wind prevails.Pilotage is not compulsory, but the owner should moor the ship at the formal open anchorage, otherwise the port authority will order the pilot to transfer the ship to a safe place at the anchorage.The pilot will pick up the ship at the anchorage, and the pilot will use their own tug to assist in mooring or anchoring, piloting and tug use, and mooring or anchoring will be completed within 1 hour.Communication can be made via VHF channel 16 at the coastal stations of the port authority.Working hours: Monday to Sunday, 08:00-17:00, 18:00-24:00.The ship owners with draft more than 9.14 meters are restricted to enter the port.Port service facilities include: ship repair, fueling, small boats, medical treatment, fresh water, supplies, repatriation, dry dock, traction and sewage. The port has a 700 meter long breakwater with four berths, each 175 meters long.Container general cargo and bulk dry cargo can be loaded, unloaded and stored in the port area.Bulk liquid cargo is also loaded and unloaded directly from the ship by tanker.
