Overview:

      Port on the Pacific coast of northern Peru.When the west 5 area standard is adopted.The maximum draught is 9.75 meters and the loading density of water is 1025.The tidal range is 1.52 meters and the westerly wind prevails.Compulsory pilotage, VHF channel 16 for communication.May 1 is the holiday of the port, and the working hours are 08:00-17:00.Port service facilities include: fueling, small boats, medical treatment, fresh water, supplies and repatriation, no ship repair, dry dock traction and sewage.The water depth in the harbor is 12.80 meters, and there is the best anchorage 1 meter west of the breakwater. There is also a better anchorage 63 meters away from the breakwater terminal, which is sandy anchorage.The breakwater is 789.1m long and the water depth at the front of the terminal is 7.3m.The maximum draught of ships allowed to enter the port is 9.14-9.75 meters.Fresh water is supplied at the end of the breakwater.
