Asaluyeh / Bandar assaluyeh is located on the southwest coast of Iran (27°29′N,052°It mainly produces and exports naphtha derivatives (condensate).

Asaluyeh has no special anchorage. Generally, port control will instruct to place the anchor at 3N mile to the southwest of SPM if it is anchored and waiting for berthing. However, since there is a water pipe laid to the platform near this location, the anchor position can be moved to the west to ensure safety.The water depth of the anchorage is about 14-60 m, and the grip is better on the muddy ground.
