Overview:
Asaluyeh / Bandar assaluyeh is located on the southwest coast of Iran (27°29′N，052°It mainly produces and exports naphtha derivatives (condensate).
Asaluyeh has no other large wharf, which is composed of a single point mooring (SPM). It is located in the northwest of asaluyeh, about 3.3 kin from the coastline.Use chart: ba2883, Np63.

Asaluyeh is basically a regular semidiurnal tide with small tidal range, the maximum tidal height is 1.6 m, the minimum tidal height is 0.3 m, and the maximum velocity is about 1 kn.The local seawater density is 1.030.
Asaluyeh has no special anchorage. Generally, port control will instruct to place the anchor at 3N mile to the southwest of SPM if it is anchored and waiting for berthing. However, since there is a water pipe laid to the platform near this location, the anchor position can be moved to the west to ensure safety.The water depth of the anchorage is about 14-60 m, and the grip is better on the muddy ground.
