Overview

      Kumasi Port (port code: GHKMS), previously known as Comassie or Coomassie Por, is a dry port in the Ashanti Region of Ghana. It is situated in a rain forest region near Lake Bosomtwe, approximately 500 kilometres (300 miles) north of the Equator, 200 kilometres (100 miles) north of the Gulf of Guinea, and 25 kilometres (16 miles) from Boankra Inland Por.
