Overview:

      Canadian seaport. It is located in the southeast of the country, the middle part of the Atlantic coast of Nova Scotia peninsula is East and 96 km east of port Halifax. Maximum draft 6.4m. The load density of water is 10265. Southwest wind prevails. Communication is via Halifax radio. Port service facilities include: ship repair, small boats, medical treatment, fresh water, supplies and repatriation, no fuel, dry dock, traction and sewage facilities. The port is a natural deep-water port with a depth of 18.3m, and the ship can be berthed anywhere in the harbor. The port is open all year round, but it will be assisted by ice breakers in January, February and March. Usually, no icebreaker is required to assist the navigation between March 1 and 15th. The berth along the port is 55 meters long and the depth of the front is 6.4m.
