Mexico seaport. It is located at the north end of Yucatan Peninsula in the southeast of the country, with a maximum draught of 4.72 meters and a water loading density of 1025 meters. The tidal range is 0.91M, southeast wind prevails, and the pilot communication is forced through VHF channels 16 and 12. Service facilities include: ship repair, fueling, small boats, medical treatment, towing, fresh water, supplies, repatriation, dry dock, and sewage disposal. The depth of anchorage is 7.31-9.14m, with sandy bottom. Strong northerly winds often blow from October to January of the next year. The new jetty is 1981.2m long, 249.93m long and 49.98m wide. At high tide, the front water depth is 5.18 meters; At low tide, the front water depth is 4.42m, and at heavy load, the formal draft of the departing ship is 4.72m.
