The port is an oil port with two buoy berths with a maximum draft of 17 meters. Berth 1 can accommodate 105000 tons of oil tankers, and berth 2 can accommodate 200000 tons of oil tankers. Both berths have oil pipes connected to storage tanks on shore. The port is windy, foggy in winter and autumn, and closed in bad weather.
