Overview:

      Kwinana, a port and city in Western Australia, is located 38 kilometers south of Perth, near the Cockburn Bay in the Indian Ocean. Quinna town was established in 1954, with a population of about 25000 and an area of 118 square kilometers (45.6 sq mi). Before the 1950s, it was a tourist destination, and later a port. There are modern petroleum refining, ironmaking, steel rolling, nickel smelting, aluminum smelting and other industries.
