South Korea ore export port. Located in the east coast of the Korean Peninsula, between Jiangling and Sanqi in Jiangyuan Nandao, near the sea of Japan. It is 28 nautical miles from wangwenjin port in the north, 257 nautical miles from Qingjin port in the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, 95 nautical miles from pusang port in the south, 149 nautical miles from Yushan port and 168 nautical miles from Pusan port. The port mainly exports coal, ore, granite, cement, etc. for Jiangyuan South Road. It is also a naval base. There are five wharves in the harbor, protected by a long breakwater extending from north to south. Terminal 1 is a jetty extending eastward with a length of 100 meters. There are berths on the north and south sides of the jetty. The water depth is 7.5-8.0 meters. The jetty outputs coal, graphite and granite. There are two sets of belt conveyors on the jetty, with an efficiency of 300-400 tons per hour; The central wharf, 120 meters long and 6.5 meters deep, is located along the North Bank of the jetty. It is used for loading and unloading groceries. Terminal 2, 140 meters long and 4 meters deep, is located on the North Bank of the central terminal. It is specially used by the Navy; 3. No.4 wharf is located on the South Bank of the jetty, with the length of 330m and 150m respectively and the water depth of 8.5-7.5m. It is used for loading and unloading cement and groceries. The maximum number of vessels allowed to enter the port is 180 meters long, 25 meters wide and 8.5 meters draft. There are three warehouses on the wharf, 116000 square meters of open storage yard, which can stack 174000 tons of goods at a time. The port opened in 1974, and its throughput capacity was 6.4 million tons in the mid-1980s. Near the eastern coalfield of Jingshan and ningyue, there are iron casting plant, cement plant and chemical fertilizer plant. The population of Hong Kong is only tens of thousands.
